Australia’s top dairy showcase, International Dairy Week, returns to Tatura this week.

New owners, Declan Patten and Bradley Cullen, have made some changes to the program, but are also looking forward to a classic, quality dairy show, which will run Monday through Thursday at Tatura Park.

Activities kicked off on Sunday with the Holstein Australia Victoria Youth Challenge Trials and VASA State Junior Judging Finals, while the Major Junior Trials kicked off on Monday.

Tuesday’s focus will be on breeds with national shows Ayrshire, Guernsey, Illawarra and Brown Swiss, while Wednesday will be dedicated to Jerseys.

The major auction will take place on Wednesday evening and on Thursday the Holsteins will enter the ring for a day of judging followed by the selection of the grand champion of the crossbreed.
