TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – The authentic at Bryant-Denny Stadiumthe first-ever team retail store focused on selling officially licensed team apparel and NIL student-athlete merchandise, will officially open Saturday, October 8 before the Alabama-Texas A&M football game kicks off .
Initially announced at the end of July, The authentic will officially open at noon CT to all fans, regardless of game ticket, and will remain open to all attendees until 3:30 p.m. Only fans with a ticket to the game will be allowed to enter the indoor sales area. Bryant-Denny Stadium once doors open at 4:30 p.m. The store will continue to operate for the entirety of the match before closing its doors one hour after the match ends.
The authentic is a one-of-a-kind fan shop powered by Fanatics that offers a significant amount of NIL merchandise including custom Nike player jerseys, custom name and number t-shirts, headwear, official memorabilia used in gambling, on-demand digital trading cards from Topps and more. The store will also create innovative engagement opportunities for Crimson Tide student-athletes to provide autographed memorabilia, host meet and greets with fans, and conduct social media marketing to support sales of their NIL products.
All purchases will come with a transparent bag to allow fans attending the match to carry their items throughout the stadium. Larger purchases can be kept inside the store for collection after the game. Signage to direct fans to The authentic will be displayed in Bryant-Denny Stadium contests.
After Saturday’s game, The authentic will open according to the defined opening hours. These times are shown below and are subject to change.
