After four days of voting, Wayne senior Luke Hulbert, St. Joseph senior Dylan Stiles and Tenafly/Cresskill senior Constantino Raftis were selected as the “3 Stars” for North Jersey Hockey Week Jan. 24-30.
Hulbert eclipsed 100 career points for the Knights this week with a three-point night in a win over Passaic Tech on Friday. Hulbert’s first goal earned him 100 career points and his second goal of the game gave Wayne a 2-1 lead in the second period. Hulbert assisted on Michael Brogna’s empty goal to seal a 5-3 win in a Passaic County tournament final rematch.
Stiles had a good week helping St. Joseph’s offense. Stiles had eight assists in three games last week, including a five-assist game against St. Augustine. In their last six games, Stiles has one goal and 10 assists for the Green Knights to lead the team this season in assists.
Raftis powered a pair of wins for the Tigers this week. Raftis had two hat tricks in wins over Indian Hills on Tuesday and Northern Valley on Sunday. Raftis scored three goals and two assists in a 7-2 win over Indian Hills, while Raftis’ three goals were the difference in a 5-2 Tenafly win over Northern Valley.

John Dunphey
Ridgewood senior
Dunphey had a hat trick and added two assists in an 8-0 win over Indian Hills on Sunday. It’s the third hat trick of the season for Dunphey, who leads the Maroons with 21 goals this season. Dunphey assisted on goals scored by Nick Ostrowe and Chris Canone while scoring twice in the second period and Ridgewood’s final goal in the third period.
Will Fuller
Senior Northern Highlands
Fuller had a goal and an assist as Northern Highlands beat conference power Shore Rumson-Fair Haven 6-3 last Monday. Fuller’s first-period assist and second-period goal gave the Highlanders a 4-0 lead that was never relinquished. Fuller also assisted on Constantine Manos’ power-play goal in a 1-1 draw with St. Peter’s Prep on Thursday.
Matt Imbriano
Don Bosco senior
Imbriano scored twice and assisted on a third in Don Bosco’s 4-1 win over Morristown-Beard on Tuesday. Imbriano scored in the second period to give the Ironmen a 2-0 lead after two periods. Imbriano scored on a shorthanded goal in the third to give Don Bosco a 3-0 lead, then assisted Ty Oller’s goal later in the third period.
Danny Mauriber
Ramapo junior
Mauriber had a five-point week in a pair of wins for the Raiders. Mauriber assisted on three goals in Ramapo’s 4-3 win over Mahwah on Friday. Mauriber assisted on a pair of shorthanded goals from Brandon Guiterman, as well as Jackson Lont’s game-winning goal against the Thunderbirds. Mauriber also assisted on two of Ramapo’s three goals in a 3-0 win over Ramsey on Sunday.
Mustard jeans
Catholic student from Bergen
Mustard contributed to all seven of the Crusaders’ goals in a 7-0 win over St. Augustine on Friday. Mustard had a goal in all three periods of the win, as well as two assists in the second and third periods in a win over the Hermits. Mustard assisted on second period goals from Bryceon Lago and Declan Quinn, as well as third period goals from Quinn and Matt Maglio.
Johnny Russenberger
mahwah junior
Russenberger scored twice for Mahwah in a 3-2 win over West Milford-Pequannock on Sunday. Russenberger scored the first two goals for Mahwah, who took a 3-0 lead in the second period. Russenberger has scored at least one point in nine of the last 11 games for Liberty Stars division leader Mahwah.
Finn Whelan
Glen Rock Junior
Whelan had a three-point game Friday night against West Essex-Caldwell. Whelan tied the team leader with nine goals and gave the Panthers their fourth victory of the season in the McInnis Division. The win put Glen Rock above .500 for the season and ended a six-game winless streak by the Panthers.
