HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER) – The Township of Hamilton will use $ 100,000 in funding from the US Rescue Plan (ARP) to fund a program to help reimburse parents / guardians for their child’s registration fees in a non-profit youth recreational league in 2021.

The program provides up to $ 200 / child in reimbursement of registration fees. Due to federal funds rules, this program is limited to children in Hamilton who are enrolled in a free / reduced meal program through their school. All information submitted will be kept confidential. Parents / guardians can apply for more than one league – for example, if their child competes in youth soccer and youth baseball, they can get a refund for both.

“Over the past 18 months, the children of Hamilton have faced significant obstacles in their normal childhood experiences,” said Mayor Jeff Martin. “The Hamilton Youth Recreational Leagues provide children with physical fitness, but just as importantly, opportunities for social and emotional learning.

Any parent / guardian wishing to participate in this reimbursement program can find the form at www.HamiltonNJ.com/Recreation under “Additional Links”. It will be up to each Youth Sports League to compile the forms and submit them to the Hamilton Recreation Division. All submissions must be received by October 15, 2021.

For questions or further assistance, please contact the Township of Hamilton Recreation Division at (609) 890-4028.
